Ding Zhiyuan

Ding Zhiyuan

Ding Zhiyuan, male, Han nationality, member of the Communist Party of China, was born in September 1963 in Pingliang, Gansu Province. He has a college education and is a senior agronomist. He is now the deputy director of wheat breeding room of Pingliang Institute of Agricultural Sciences.

Main experience

From 1984 to 1987, he majored in Agronomy and graduated from technical secondary school. From 1996 to 1999, he obtained the diploma of agricultural extension in national self taught examination of Gansu Agricultural University. From 1987 to now, he has worked in Wheat Breeding Research Office of Pingliang Institute of Agricultural Sciences. From 1989, he has trained and studied Taigu Nuclear Male Sterile Wheat in Crop Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, with excellent results Deputy director of Wheat Breeding Research Office has obtained and employed senior agronomist since 2007

Research direction

1. Genetic improvement of winter wheat, innovation and breeding of excellent resources; 2. Demonstration and industrialization of new winter wheat varieties; 3. Application of chromosome engineering breeding technology of Winter Wheat

Achievement Award

In 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006, he was awarded the honorary title of scientific research advanced worker of Pingliang Institute of Agricultural Sciences for many times, and in 2007, he was awarded the honorary title of agricultural and animal husbandry system advanced worker directly under Pingliang City, becoming one of the young and middle-aged leaders of agricultural science and technology in our city. 1.
