Wang Shichang

Wang Shichang, male, born in 1942, is a famous calligrapher. Now he is a member of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association and Chinese Calligraphers Association. His calligraphy works and albums are collected by Mingchun temple, Guangji temple, Singapore and other individuals, and framed albums are collected by many museums, memorial halls, calligraphy and painting academies and artists.

Personal experience

Wang Shichang was six years old and studied calligraphy with his grandfather. In 59, he was admitted to North China Medical College. He dropped out of school because of his family. He was very fond of calligraphy because of mounting calligraphy and painting. In the 1980s, he took part in the calligraphy correspondence study of Qingyun calligraphy and painting society and was instructed by Mr. Feng Yiwu.

personal honor

Later, under the guidance of Mr. Hou Dechang, his calligraphy works participated in the Chinese farmers women's exhibition, and were selected to win the first prize in the national calligraphy competition of the world women's Congress harmony cup. In commemoration of the 110th anniversary of Mao Zedong's birth, he won the first prize in the calligraphy competition, which made the world green and welcomed the Olympic Games. After that, he wrote works for the Olympic Organizing Committee, and won the excellent work award in the Centennial Chinese film painting and calligraphy exhibition. His works are included in the large-scale painting and calligraphy books such as "national collection of famous contemporary painting and calligraphy works", "exhibition of Chinese contemporary painting and calligraphy works".
