Cheng Xiurong
Cheng Xiurong, visiting professor of Beijing modern conservatory of music, famous huqin player, artistic director of Hong Kong City Chinese Orchestra. He was also invited to serve as the director of China National Orchestral Association, honorary director of Erhu society of China Musicians Association, and consultant of Hong Kong Music grading examination committee of Shanghai Conservatory of music. He used to be the chief and soloist of the national band of Fujian song and dance theater and a member of the young musicians group of Shanghai Conservatory of music.
Personal introduction
He graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of music and studied composition and conducting under the guidance of Min Huifen, Xiao Baiyong and Xu Jiande, as well as Xia Feiyun, a famous conductor and he Zhanhao, a famous composer. He has won many awards, including the first prize in the national folk music solo competition. He is famous for his skillful skills, sweet voice, sincere feelings, delicate charm and passion.
Cheng has performed more than 400 solo concerts in China and at home and abroad, covering more than 10 regions in the mainland and overseas. She has cooperated with many famous orchestras, including the National Symphony Orchestra of China, the Symphony Orchestra of the Central Ballet, the central broadcasting national orchestra, the Taipei Municipal National Orchestra, the Taiwan National Orchestra, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, the Macao Chinese Orchestra and the Guangdong National Orchestra.

In 2005, Cheng Xiurong cooperated with China National Symphony Orchestra in Beijing Concert Hall and successfully held the "Cheng Xiurong erhu symphony concert" at Beijing Music Festival, which was highly praised by Chinese newspapers and music circles. CCTV has repeatedly spread its exquisite concert performance to Chinese and overseas audiences in "Fenghua national music" and "China Art Garden".
