Born in Beijing in 1958, he studied poetry, calligraphy and painting since childhood.
He graduated from the Chinese Department of Peking University in 1983, and began to write literature and fine arts.
In 1986, he held the first individual painting exhibition, and then held more than 10 sessions successively. He participated in various levels of joint exhibitions and won awards.
He joined Beijing Branch of China Artists Association in 1990.

Even the Chinese literati painting, which can be called the old mysticism art, failed to open up enough space of its own due to historical limitations.
