Li Liping, Professor, doctoral supervisor. He graduated from Beijing University of public health as a visiting doctor. Educational research
As a leader of the discipline, he has made remarkable achievements in the research field of injury prevention in this discipline. He founded the first injury prevention research center in China, and took the lead in carrying out injury monitoring in hospital emergency room in China (which has been implemented for more than 8 years). The research achievements in injury monitoring have been popularized and applied throughout the country, playing a role of model and demonstration, and have been produced at home and abroad It has a great influence. As the chairman of injury prevention and control branch of Chinese Association of preventive medicine, he actively organized or participated in the work of the society, organized the first Executive Council meeting of injury prevention and control branch (May 2006) and the first National Academic Conference on injury prevention and control (December 1999), drafted and published the first guiding document after the establishment of the society: Safe Community injury Baseline survey protocol of pest intervention project (Chinese Journal of epidemiology). Research interests include injury prevention, environmental pollution and health, occupational safety, etc. As the project leader, he has successively obtained two general projects and one major project (sub project) of NSFC, national key projects in the 11th five year plan, scientific research projects of Li Ka Shing Foundation of Oxford University, cooperative projects of George International Research Center of University of Sydney, and Guangdong provincial key projects in the 10th five year plan. He has published more than 60 scientific papers, including 3 papers indexed by SCI, 2 monographs published by people's Health Publishing House, 1 textbook published by people's Health Publishing House, and 1 textbook published by people's Health Publishing House as deputy editor in chief. Professor Li Liping is now the director and doctoral supervisor of the injury prevention research center of Medical College of Shantou University. She has been engaged in injury prevention research for more than 20 years and has made outstanding contributions to the cause of injury prevention in China. In 1999, China's first specialized Injury Research Institute was established in Medical College of Shantou University, taking the lead in exploring and proposing hospital injury monitoring mode. In 2012, the Journal of injury prevention and control branch, Injury Medicine (Electronic Edition), was officially launched. In the aspect of injury prevention practice, Professor Li Liping went deep into the community to understand the prominent injury problems of residents, actively explored the safe community model in China, and provided key technical guidance for the successful establishment of many international safe communities. Aiming at the problem of children's riding safety, Professor Li Liping has carried out investigation and intervention research on the current situation of children's safety seats for many years, which provides first-hand information for promoting relevant legislation and improving children's riding safety. Professor Li Liping also participated in the review of technical guidelines for fall intervention for the elderly, technical guidelines for fall intervention for children and technical guidelines for drowning intervention for children, and promoted the promulgation and revision of relevant regulations and standards.
