Hong bin, male, Han nationality, was born in December 1964 in Wuhe, Anhui Province. He started work in July 1985 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1991. He graduated from the in-service postgraduate class of the Party School of Anhui provincial Party committee, majoring in law and graduated from the Party school. He was a member of the Party group and vice chairman of the Bengbu Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference.

On the morning of February 2, 2021, Chuzhou intermediate people's court held a public session to hear the case of Hong bin suspected of bribery.

The people's Procuratorate of Anhui Province made a decision to arrest Hong bin for suspected bribery according to law. The case is under further processing.
