Character evaluation
In the April issue of vogue, Zhao Ting, who loves the story of the old West, dressed up as a cowboy and walked with a horse, which is very cool. She has excellent language skills, cultural understanding and global vision. She may be a person who adapts quickly in the process of transnational integration of film industry. Her creation may not be pure Chinese film, but a universal text with Chinese gene. At the same time, she exudes a unique personal style. Her works tell stories closely related to them but rarely mentioned by the world through real characters in non mainstream communities, which can show her concern for vulnerable groups and social problems (comprehensive review of Sina entertainment and surging News)
