Cheng Hao (October 1923 December 24, 2016), formerly known as Chen Huilian and Shao Xiangyun, was born in Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province in October 1923. He joined the Red Army in 1933 and the long march in March 1935. He joined the Communist Party of China in the winter of 1940.
He once served as Deputy Secretary General of the Fifth National Committee of the CPPCC and member of the party leading group. In September 1983, he served as vice president of the Central Institute of socialism.
Life of the characters
In October 1923, Cheng Hao was born in Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province. He joined the Red Army in 1933 and the long march in March 1935. He joined the Communist Party of China in the winter of 1940. During the negotiations between the KMT and the CPC in Chongqing and Nanjing, he served as the leader of the confidential group of the CPC delegation. In November 1946, he went to Shanghai and other places to engage in underground work of the party. Since December 1953, he has successively served as director of the office of the Party committee, deputy secretary of the Party committee and deputy director of the cadre Department of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee. labor was released in May 1969. Since December 1970, he has successively served as deputy director of the Organization Department of the Party committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, director of the United Front Work Department of the Party committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, vice chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, etc. In March 1980, he served as Deputy Secretary General of the Fifth National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and a member of the party leading group. In September 1983, he served as vice president of the Central Institute of socialism. In September 1987, he served as deputy director of the culture, history and Learning Committee of the CPPCC National Committee. He retired in December 1999. On December 24, 2016, Comrade Cheng Hao, Deputy Secretary General of the Fifth National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, died in Beijing at the age of 94.
