Zhang Ping
Zhang Ping, born in Tianjin on March 24, 1982, is a Chinese women's volleyball player and a former national player of the Chinese women's volleyball team.
Zhang Ping is one of the few power type secondary attack teams in China. She is the main attack point of Tianjin team, the champion team of the domestic league. Her jump service and fast attack have their own characteristics, especially her jump service is powerful and fast. She once won the "best service award" of the National League. Zhang Ping, a member of the "golden generation" and an assistant attacker, won the gold medal in Athens Olympic Games, and was rated as the "best attacker" in Athens Olympic Games.
In 2009, Zhang Ping retired due to injury. After retirement, he went to the Chinese University of Hong Kong to study and obtained bachelor's and master's degrees. He is currently a lecturer in sports at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). He is a teacher of Tianjin Media College.
