Li Xiaoyu

Li Xiaoyu, born in Fengrun County, Hebei Province on October 26, 1951, graduated from Chinese Department of Peking University, is a contemporary female writer. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1983. He once served as executive deputy chief editor of poetry journal, vice president and Secretary General of Chinese poetry society. On February 11, 2015, he died of illness in Beijing at the age of 64. At 10 a.m. on February 17, 2015, the farewell ceremony was held at the bamboo Pavilion of Babaoshan funeral home in Beijing.

He was born in Fengrun County, Hebei Province on October 26, 1951. Under the influence of his family, he came into contact with poetry since childhood. In 1969, he joined the army two years later, worked as a health worker in the basic units of the railway army, and published the first group of poems "medicine collecting line". in 1976, he began to work in the Department of poetry magazine, and successively served as director of the Department and deputy editor in chief. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1983. Major honors

Li Xiaoyu also won the first solemn literature award and the second iron man literature award. His works have been translated into English, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean and other languages.
