Lin Shengxiang

Lin Shengxiang, born in 1971 in Meinong Town, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is a Hakka pop musician and a soul figure of the former Jiaogong band.

In 1998, after the concert of "crossing the village to find the willows" and "wandering the beautiful island" jointly organized with meinongai Township Association, it was decided to form a "handover band" to participate in the anti reservoir movement with music. Character experience

Lin Shengxiang left his hometown for Tainan in 1988 to study in Tainan No.2 Middle School. He began to learn guitar in the summer vacation of senior high school. In 1989, he took part in the "Tainan Fucheng cup Guitar Competition". Although it was his first attempt, he made outstanding achievements and attracted attention. Lin Shengxiang was admitted to the Department of traffic management of Tamkang University in 1991. The biggest attraction for him to choose this school is that it has a good music tradition. In 1992, Lin Shengxiang took part in the 10th University Town singing competition and won the first prize and the best lyric award. This achievement greatly inspired him. Therefore, writing poetry and making music gradually became the focus of his life. He and his friends formed a music group "Guanzi music pit". At the beginning of his creation, Lin Shengxiang's works were mainly Mandarin songs. At that time, the subversive Fulao songs of Lin Qiang and Chen Mingzhang had caused a shock in the pop music world. Lin Shengxiang, as a Hakka child, was inspired and naturally sprouted the idea of creating modern Hakka songs. At the same time, Cui Jian's album "nothing" is also popular among young students.
