Early experience
Xie Yuwei was born in an art family. When he was a child, his father Xie Xiande was a Taiwanese painter. When he painted, he always put some music to cheer him up. There were all kinds of Classical Pop, and occasionally Hakka folk songs. Xie Yuwei's favorite is western music in the 1970s and 1980s. He often saves pocket money to buy records. after graduating from the high school art experimental class, he was recommended to the Department of culture and art. He studied guitar and piano half a year before entering school. When I was in college, the president of the school's Ci and Qu creation club was directly under the president, and the rehearsal room of the club was separated from Xie Yuwei's studio by a wall. Xie Yuwei, who has been enthusiastic about music for half a year, was invited to join the club and began to learn how to compose. He composed his first piece of music "years accompany you to dream". Because of his outstanding voice, he soon became the lead singer. In 1987, Taiwanese Hakkas launched a "return my mother tongue" parade in Taipei. In this movement, Hakka music became one of the most important plays in the revival of Hakka culture.
