brief introduction
The members of Yoshida brothers include elder brother Yoshida ryichiro (July 26, 1977) and younger brother Yoshida Kenichi (December 16, 1979), who was born in dengbie, Hokkaido, Japan. Because his father was eager to become a musician of Sanwei line in Tianjin Light Industry, he failed to do so, so he asked the two brothers to learn this instrument from the performer anda Xiaohua. Since 1989, he has studied with Sasaki Shoko, the master of Sanwei line, and has won many awards in many important competitions of Sanwei line in Japan. In 1999, Ibuki, his first record, sold more than 100000 copies (and won the Gold Record Award in 2001). In 2000, he participated in the NHK red and white song competition, and has held three consecutive national touring concerts in Japan since 2002. In August 2003, Yoshida brothers released its first overseas album in the United States, and performed in New York and Los Angeles in October of the same year, attracting wide attention. They also went to Denmark and Sweden for music exchange. In 2006, concerts were held in Spain and Hong Kong. Yoshida brothers with avant-garde shape and unique typhoon are popular among young people. The music they play and write gives full play to the dazzling timbre of sanweixian, and infuses elements such as rock, pop, Latin music and blues, plus jazz style improvisation and passionate plucking, which endows this traditional string instrument with new vitality. The vigor and creativity of youth have swept countless fans. This pair of brothers may not be as well-known in Japan's national music industry as the two time champion's wife Hongguang, but they have won numerous awards at a young age. In particular, they integrate the string brushing technique of electric guitar into the Sanwei string performance, and their style can be described as a school of their own. In the month of peace, they can be heard in many albums. Last year, they were invited to attend the concert commemorating the 30th anniversary of China Japan friendship, which shows their status and popularity. Their early music bud was adopted as the promotional music for the film Memoirs of a Geisha, and other works have also been ranked 11th on the download list of iTunes. Sanwei line originated from Sanxian in China. After its eastward migration to Japan, this instrument was mainly developed and spread in Jinqing, Aomori County, northern Honshu. It was one of the main instruments for folk song accompaniment in the 18th century and became a representative solo instrument by the middle of the 19th century. Yoshida brothers innovated the performer's style by using punk head with dyed hair, which made the young people rush to learn. [affiliated office] k.r.k
