Cao Yi (1390-1460, February 14), the word Jingfang. He was born in Yizhen County, Yangzhou Prefecture. A famous general in the early Ming Dynasty.
In his early years, Cao Yi led Jinshi to Jinshi, the commander of Yanshan Zuowei, and assisted Wu Kai, the commander of Liaodong general, to guard Liaodong. After Wu Kai died in the third year of Zhengtong (1438), he took over the post of commander-in-chief and fought against wuliangha for many times. Cao Yi lived in the border area for more than 20 years. He was honest and prudent. He was loved by Liao people and was the most famous person who guarded Liaodong after Wu Kai. After the restoration of Yingzong in the Ming Dynasty, fengrunbo was granted to the world.
Caoyi died in 1460, the fourth year of Tianshun. After Fengrun Hou, posthumous title "Zhuangwu."
Life of the characters
When Cao Yi was in the weak crown, he took his father's position as the commander of the left guard of Yanshan. He worked as the commander of the left guard of Liaodong and assisted Wu Kai, the commander of Liaodong. In 1438, Wu Kai died, and Cao Yi replaced him as the commander in chief. After Wu Kai, Cao Yi was supported by Liaodong people for his incorruptness and integrity. At that time, Wu liangha committed a crime in Qiantun of Guangning. Emperor Yingzong of Ming Dynasty ordered Wang Ao to take charge of military affairs, and Wang Ao impeached Cao Yi for his capital crime. After that, Cao Yi arrested Botai and other criminals and was ordered to behead them in the city. Since then, he has repeatedly fought with wuliangha. In the ninth year of Zhengtong (1444), Cao Yi and Zhu Yong, the Duke of Chengguo, fought against wuliangha and made many achievements. They were promoted to Tongzhi, the commander-in-chief. Cao Yi worked in the border area for more than 20 years. Although he had no great achievements, he was able to guard the border area and avoid wrong. He was the most famous person who guarded Liaodong after Wu Kai. His subordinates Shi Ju and Jiao Li were the most important generals. In February of the first year of Tianshun (1457), Yingzong granted Cao Yi the title of fengrunbo, with an annual salary of 1300 stone and a hereditary certificate. On the 22nd of the first month of the fourth year of Tianshun (February 14, 1460), Cao Yi died of illness in the capital at the age of 71. He was posthumously granted the title of Fengrun Marquis, and his posthumous title was Zhuangwu.

Anecdotes and allusions
After Cao Yi's death, Li's stepwife hanged himself for his sacrifice and was commended by the Ming court.

Cao Wenbing, son of Cao song, attacked the marquis in 1561. He died in 1580.
The seventh generation
Cao Yuncheng, the son of Cao Wenbing, attacked the marquis in 1595. He died in 1615.
The eighth generation
