Huang Yulong
(1963-1984) from Sanzao Township, Nanhui County (now Nanhui District, Shanghai). After graduating from Shuguang Middle School of Sanzao commune in 1978, he returned to his hometown for farming. He joined the Communist Youth League in June 1981. In January 1982, he enlisted and became a soldier of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.

The army assigned Huang Yulong to work as a announcer. Due to his hard work and strict training, his professional and technical level ranked first in the regiment. During an exercise organized by the military region in 1982, the company decided to let Huang Yulong take charge of a radio station alone because of his good technique. On July 26, Huang Yulong rushed to the front position in a military vehicle with excitement. Suddenly, the car lost control and overturned in a nearby ditch. At the moment of rollover, Huang Yulong held the radio station tightly in his hands. He was seriously injured and the radio station was intact. As the injury was too serious, the rescue was ineffective and the patient died with honor. Later, according to Huang Yulong's request, he was chased as a member of the Communist Party of China.
