Jindan, male, was born in May 1966 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. Doctor of literature, Professor of Nanjing Art College, doctoral supervisor, head of calligraphy department. He is an expert of art project evaluation of National Social Science Foundation of Ministry of education. He is a member of the Education Committee of China Calligrapher Association, a member of Xiling Seal engraver Association, vice chairman of Jiangsu Calligrapher Association, and vice chairman of Jiangsu seal cutting Research Association.

Jindan, male, was born in May 1966 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. Doctor of literature, Professor of Nanjing Art College, doctoral supervisor, head of calligraphy department. He is an expert of art project evaluation of National Social Science Foundation of Ministry of education. He is a member of the Education Committee of China Calligrapher Association, a member of Xiling Seal engraver Association, vice chairman of Jiangsu Calligrapher Association, and vice chairman of Jiangsu seal cutting Research Association. Jindan studied calligraphy at the age of 8 and painting at the age of 15. He was admitted to the first calligraphy major of Nanjing Academy of Arts in 1988. In 1998, he successively studied for master's degree and doctor's degree in calligraphy, and his tutor was Professor Huang dun. After graduation, he stayed in school to teach and was rated as the outstanding young backbone teacher of "Blue Project" by Jiangsu Provincial Department of education. "333 high level talents training project" is the training object. Calligraphy works have been selected and awarded in major national exhibitions for many times, and the works are included in the collection of calligraphy of award-winning authors in previous National Youth exhibitions. Besides calligraphy creation, he devoted himself to the research of calligraphy history and theory, and won the first prize of the fifth Lanting award of Chinese calligraphy (theory Award), the first prize of the Xiling Seal society contemporary seal cutting academic seminar, and the third prize of the Ministry of education's fifth excellent achievement award of scientific research in Colleges and universities (HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES). The papers are included in selected papers on Contemporary Chinese calligraphy, etc. He has written history of Chinese calligraphy (co authored), complete works of Chinese calligraphers, volume of Yi bingshou and Chen Hongshou, criticism of Bao Shichen's calligraphy, research on Ruan Yuan's calligraphy, from copying to creation, Dong Qichang, art of Baijiao, appreciation of calligraphy, wonderful way of calligraphy, copy of seal cutting, etc. At present, he has published more than 50 papers in Chinese calligraphy, calligraphy research, calligraphy, Southeast culture, rongbaozhai and other professional journals. He presided over the Ministry of culture's project "Kang Youwei and the study of Qing Dynasty steles" and edited the dictionary of Qing Dynasty calligraphy, painting and seal cutting figures. Since 2006, he has been lecturing "approaching calligraphy" in Jiangsu Education TV station. Special introduction of professional journals such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting and calligraphy, Chinese painter and calligrapher.
