Character evaluation
During her 40 years in the film industry, Xu Guanying has appeared in more than 30 films. Because of her poor appearance, she often plays the role of being bullied or funny. She is also known as the "generation of comedians" because her funny image is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Many of the classic Hong Kong comedy films he has appeared in, such as "Mr. zombie", "genius and idiot", "best partner's secret order of the Queen" and so on, are familiar to fans. Among them, the apprentice "Wencai" in "Mr. zombie" is the most impressive. The passage that a corpse must jump on sticky rice to avoid becoming a zombie is a classic. Since then, the role of "Wencai" has become a representative of the hapless ghosts in Hong Kong movies, and "Mr. zombie" also set off a boom in zombie movies that year. (Netease Entertainment review) although Xu Guanying's star journey is not as brilliant as his elder brother Guanwen and younger brother Guanjie, he devotes himself to playing his little role in every movie. No matter how many scenes he plays, it is always unforgettable. For example, the chicken bubble in half the weight and Ah Ying in the money mischief are never the protagonists, but they bring laughter to the audience and devote most of his life to art . (Sina entertainment review) Xu Guanying, who looks ordinary, is actually brilliant. Besides being good at acting, she can sing and compose music. "The cold wind at night" written in 1974 is very popular, and "the sound of rain at night" which is composed by him is also very popular among music fans. Since 1977, it has launched the best-selling albums, such as "Fa Qian Han", "Xia Zhi Lian" and "Qian Zuo Guai", etc. it also has a unique style to sing love songs with its unique voice. (xinhuanet.com) apart from her outstanding achievements in comedy films, Xu Guanying also has a place in the music world in Hong Kong. Although she is not as dazzling as her younger brother Xu Guanjie, she has also made great achievements. His leading songs include: FA Qian Han, Li Wo Shao Xiao, Xia Mei Gong you, my a Ying's wife, Bo Shi and so on, which are quite popular. He also participated in the lyrics, which can be seen from his works like "merciless cold wind at night". The work "the sound of rain at night" created by him is also loved by the majority of fans.
