Liu Xiaochun

Liu Xiaochun, male, Han nationality, was born in July 1959 in Baicheng, Jilin Province, with an in-service university degree. He began to work in July 1977 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1984. He once served as party secretary of Baicheng Normal University in Jilin Province.

In November 2018, it was decided that Liu Xiaochun should be expelled from the party and the Jilin Provincial Supervision Commission should be expelled from public office.

In December 2018, Liu Xiaochun was suspected of bribery, and Tonghua people's Procuratorate filed a public prosecution with Tonghua intermediate people's court according to law.

On December 20, 2019, Tonghua intermediate people's Court of Jilin Province publicly sentenced Liu Xiaochun, former Secretary of the Party committee of Baicheng Normal University, to six years' imprisonment in the first instance.

On December 20, 2019, Tonghua intermediate people's Court of Jilin Province publicly declared the bribery case of Liu Xiaochun, former party secretary of Baicheng Normal University. Liu Xiaochun, the defendant, was sentenced to six years' imprisonment and a fine of 800000 yuan for the crime of taking bribes, and the proceeds from taking bribes were confiscated and turned over to the State Treasury according to law. Liu Xiaochun said that he pleaded guilty to serving the sentence and did not appeal.
