Pan Yueming, born in Xicheng District of Beijing on May 9, 1974, is an actor from the mainland of China. He graduated from the Art Department of Beijing Normal University, majoring in film and television production.
In 1994, he took part in his first TV play the romance of the Three Kingdoms, playing sun Xiu, the third emperor of the state of Wu, and officially entered the film and television industry. In 2000, he won the best newcomer award of the 7th Beijing University Film Festival for his role in "very summer", in 2002, he won the best actor award of the 9th Beijing University Film Festival for his role in "can't help it", and in 2003, he won the excellent newcomer award of the 9th China Film Huabiao Award for his role in "stormy waves". His representative films and TV plays include "chasing the murderer in the white night", "the legend of the White Snake", "smoke and cloud in Beijing", "red clothes square", "Peacock Flying Southeast" and so on. In 2013, he set up his own studio.
In December 2017, he was named the star of the year. In January 2018, he won the most beautiful performance award of the year and the strength actor award of the year in microblog night; he won the role Star Award of the year in Anhui Satellite TV National Drama Festival; and he won the "breakthrough performance award of the year" in the Ninth China Film Golden broom award on March 26. In June 2019, he won the actor of the year award of the Internet boutique Festival. In August 2019, Forbes released the list of 100 celebrities in China, and pan Yueming ranked 97. On August 27, 2020, pan Yueming ranked 64th on the Forbes 2020 China celebrity list.
Early experience
Pan Yueming grew up in the old Beijing Hutong near Dashilan, Xicheng District, Beijing. The name "Yue Ming" was changed by him when he was 13 years old. The word "Yue" originated from his father who was from Guangdong, and the word "Ming" wanted to be aboveboard in the world.
Influenced by his family, pan Yueming studied calligraphy and painting since childhood, and won many awards in the competition. After being recommended to a key middle school, he served as the host of the children's program "seven colors" of Beijing TV station. He is also a reporter of the school press station. His articles have been published in newspapers, and he has also written scripts.
In 1995, due to the delay of filming and the failure of cultural courses, he failed to apply for the Beijing Film Academy and lost the qualification of the Central Academy of drama as an exception. After that, I did some work, such as recording, drama, advertising agency salesman and so on. In 1996, he gave up the opportunity of Shanghai drama academy and going abroad for further study, prepared to switch to behind the scenes production, and was admitted to the film and television production major of Art Department of Beijing Normal University (now art and Media College of Beijing Normal University).
Acting experience
Pan Yueming, who has not yet entered the performing arts circle, has been involved in dozens of children's plays and has been invited by the 94 version of the romance of the Three Kingdoms to play Wu Jingdi and sun Xiu.
In 1999, due to his "non professional background", Lu Xuechang, director of the film "very summer", and director of the film "blue love" with Huo Jianqi, began his career as an actor.
In 2001, the leading TV movie "can't help it" was broadcasted on the film channel for many times and won high praise. In June 2007, he was appointed by director Chen Kaige to play the role of "Wang Huifang", Mei Lanfang's cousin in the film "Mei Lanfang" (renamed Zhu Huifang in the film). Under the guidance of Hu Wenge, the successor of Mei school, he studied Peking opera performance and performed seven plays in six months, which was finally affirmed by the crew.
In April 2008, he played Jiao Zhongqing, a scholarly scholar, in the ancient love tragedy Peacock Flying Southeast, which shows the desire, struggle and helplessness of a young man growing up in an ancient feudal family in front of love. In 2013, pan yuemingyi filmed the first films of three directors: "big mouth", "derailment era" and "farewell to youth in full bloom", and set up his own studio in the same year.

Personal life
In August 2005, pan Yueming and Dong Jie got married because of their cooperation in "red clothes square".
In early 2008, they were engaged and married in Beijing on September 26.
On February 5, 2009, Dong Jie gave birth to a son, nicknamed "Dingding".
On October 20, 2012, Dong Jie's studio issued an open letter indicating that the two broke up. On October 21, pan Yueming issued a statement in response, suing Dong Jie's agent Ren Jiaying in the same year.
On May 8, 2014, the people's Court of Chaoyang District of Beijing made a judgment in the first instance of the dispute over the right of reputation. The defendants Ren Jiaying and Shanghai Shenjiang Service News Agency Co., Ltd. were found to have insulted and slandered pan Yueming, and should publicly apologize to pan Yueming in the media.
After pan Yueming won the first trial, the two defendants appealed separately. On November 27, 2014, the Beijing third intermediate people's Court upheld the original judgment. Ren Jiaying and Shenjiang service guide infringed pan Yueming's right of reputation. They must apologize to pan Yueming publicly within 7 days after the judgment. However, as of December 14, the defendant did not respond to the verdict, which has not yet been implemented.
