The flowers
"Those flowers" is a song sung by male singer Pu Shu from the mainland of China. Pu Shu composed lyrics and music in person, which was included in his first album "I went to 2000" released in 1999, and is also the last song of the 2002 film "then flowers bloom".
In May 2003, fan weiqi, a female pop singer from Taiwan, China, filled in new English words for the song and included it in her album "truth, goodness and beauty". In September 2003, Pu Shu's selected album "I went to 2000 (treasure Edition)" was released, and "those flowers" was reorganized and included again. In 2004, the song won the "Hong Kong and Taiwan Golden Melody of the year" award at musicin China top ranking award party.
The song is also used in the final song of Bixian 2 released in July 2013.
Creative background
"Those flowers" is composed and sung by Pu Shu. In fact, the humming in "those flowers" is because Pu Shu knows a little French. This humming is purely an impromptu humming by Pu Shu himself. When he was participating in a variety show of CCTV, a student who was studying linguistics asked him the same question. He answered that it was his own humming《 Out of your window "is the same as the words behind it. It's all his own singing, not any words. In May 2003, Taiwan female singer fan Weiqi released her album "truth, goodness and beauty" to reinterpret "those flowers". Compared with the original version of Park Shu, this version adds flute playing, which is played by Chinese Taiwanese singer fan Xiaoxuan. The lyrics are the same as park Shu's "wooden guitar version", but fan Weiqi does not sing like park Shu. Instead, she adds a piece of English lyrics, which is inspired by the anti war song "where have all the flowers gone" during the Vietnam War.
Song lyrics
1999 rain and dust
The laughter reminds me of my flowers quietly open for me in every corner of my life I thought I would always be by her side today we have left in the vast sea of people they are old where are they fortunately, I have accompanied them to open Miss her Is she still driving Go they have been blown away by the wind and scattered all over the world some stories have not been finished, so forget it those feelings have been difficult to tell the truth in the years now there are many weeds and no flowers it's good to have your spring and autumn and winter and summer they are old where are they fortunately, I have accompanied them to open it Miss her Is she still driving Go they have been taken away by the wind and scattered in the end of the world people are just like being blown away by the wind and inserted in the end of the world are they old are they still open are we going to the end of the world like this

Appreciation of songs
In this song, Pu Shu uses his usual singing style to show you a simple and sincere Pu Shu; meanwhile, fan Weiqi uses her soothing style to sing a strong and soft texture. "Those flowers" is a sad and warm work. Both Pu Shu and fan Weiqi regard this song as their "repertoire".

Release version
Park Shu's version of those flowers has been released in two versions, hereinafter referred to as "1999 version" and "2003 wooden guitar version". In 1999, Pu Shu released his first personal album "I'll go to 2000", which was included in the first edition of "those flowers", namely "Yuchen laughter edition" and "1999 edition" as they are known on the Internet. Compared with the 2003 version of "wooden guitar", this version has the following differences: first, the lyrics of 1999 version are slightly different from those of 2003 version, such as the sentence "fortunately, I have been open with them", which has not been found in all subsequent versions; second, the 1999 version begins with the humming of Pu Shu, and the guitar accompaniment is lighter than that of the second version; third, the second half of the 1999 version A girl named Yuchen's laughter is added, and the melody is also mixed with the sound of gurgling water; fourth, there is no MV in the 1999 version, and it is used as the final song of the 2002 film "then the flowers bloom". Later, Pu Shu filmed MV for the 2003 version of the wooden guitar, which is directed by Jin ZhuoZhi, director of Taiwan, China; fifth, after the rearrangement of the 2003 version of the wooden guitar, it strengthens the folk flavor of the original song and accompanies the guitar The sound is more obvious than the 1999 version, which sounds similar to fan Weiqi's version; there is no girl's laughter and running water in the background of the 2003 wooden guitar version, and park Shu's soliloquy is also a few words less.
