Wei Yuru, born on 26 may 1960. He is now a soloist of the Central National Orchestra and a national first-class actor. In 1989, he won the highest honorary Gold Award in the 13th World Youth Festival. In 1995, he won the second prize of China International Musical Instrument competition. He has visited Korea, Singapore, Canada, Japan and other countries to perform.

Growth experience

Wei Yuru began to study Pipa at the age of 10 and played solo in Beijing Children's palace. In 1981, he was admitted to the Central National Orchestra. He studied the performance of zhongruan with great concentration and mastered the difficult skills of zhongruan.
