Early experience
In 1984, Jiang Zhongyi was born in Jinzhou, Dalian. His father Jiang Dawei was a cadre in Jinzhou District, and his mother Zhang Lingling was a doctor. He lived there until he was 8 years old. When Jiang Zhong was a child, she didn't like singing, but her parents liked singing very much. As soon as Jiang Zhongyi entered the children's palace of Jinzhou district to study ballet, but it was too painful, so he transferred to the vocal class.
In 1993, Jiang Zhongyi came to Dalian youth palace to study vocal music systematically. Soon after that, he won the first prize of children's group in Dalian children's singing competition.
In 1995, Chen Liqing came to Dalian to select a member for the youth beauty team under construction. Jiang Zhongyi was selected, and then went to Beijing to participate in the re competition of the youth beauty team and was admitted.

In September 1995, Jiang Zhongyi, Li Chen, Xin Xin, Hu Jing, Liu Ying and Li Yan formed the first generation of beautiful young girls.
In June 1996, the team made its debut in the "cctv96 Asian young singers TV Invitational Contest" and won the silver medal.
In February 1997, Jiang Zhongyi appeared on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Gala and sang the theme song "hand in hand heart to heart" with Liu Huan. In the same year, he took part in CCTV "Mid Autumn Festival Gala" and sang "the curved moon" personally.
In January 1998, the youth girls team took part in the cctv1998 Spring Festival Gala and performed the opening song "welcome the Spring Festival and celebrate the new year"; in May, they released their first Mandarin album "happy baby"; in August, Jiang Zhongyi, who wanted to study, left the team; in late September, because his parents thought that the tuition for studying in Japan was too expensive, they suddenly left without saying goodbye, cancelled the contract with the company and filed a lawsuit with the teacher.
In 2000, Jiang Zhongyi won the lawsuit. Later, at the invitation of Dalian film and Television Art Institute, Jiang Zhongyi returned to Dalian and spent three years as a student there. In 2001, he played Wenchuan wenhuang in the costume history drama Cao Xueqin directed by Wang Jing.
In 2003, he visited France, Holland and other countries, and then returned to China to receive professional training in music performance for three years.
In August 2007, Jiang Zhongyi came back and signed with musician Guo Liang. In August 2008, he released his first solo album "fish", with the main song "love · fragrance".
In 2016, he released the single "self indulgence".
