Li Jiandong is currently professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and technology, director of State Key Laboratory of integrated business network theory and key technology of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and technology, director of Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of blockchain and security computing, and director of Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of space solar power station system. He was the dean of School of communication engineering, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and technology. He is a member of China communication society, senior member of IEEE, and editorial board member of Journal of communications and information networks. He graduated from Xi'an University of Electronic Science and technology in 1982, and received a doctor's degree in engineering in 1990. He was promoted to a professor in 1994. He visited Cornell University in 2002. He is an expert of the overall group of the national new generation broadband wireless mobile communication network major project, the leader of the broadband wireless IP technology standard working group of the Ministry of information industry, a member of the communication and information security expert group of the general equipment department, one of the first batch of national candidates for the "New Century million talent project" in China, and the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2007.
