Yu Haiyang

Yu Haiyang, male, Han nationality, from Dongying, Shandong Province, was once a singer of the art troupe of the Political Department of the air force of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, and is now a singer of the Oriental Song and dance troupe of China. Graduated from the Department of vocal music of China Conservatory of music in 2006, he has participated in many large-scale literary and artistic activities of CCTV and other TV stations.

"Stand guard for the motherland" is a lyric song composed by composer Meng Wenhao. It describes the soldiers at the frontier holding steel guns on New Year's Eve, sticking to their posts, looking at the firecrackers to celebrate the new year and the hometown where all families are reunited. They can't help feeling emotional, expressing their regret for not being able to go home and reunite, and also expressing their determination to defend the country and border areas and defend peace. Yu Haiyang said that although the song has been sung on many occasions, he still feels that he is self-conscious and superficial in his emotional treatment and understanding of the work. This time, he reinterprets the song, hoping to do better.
