Around the end of the 1960s, Zhang Yiwen signed a contract with Meiya, Wenhua and other record companies, recording many songs and folk songs of other singers in that era, and her singing became more and more popular. In addition to Mandarin, Chinese songs in the form of Xiqu and riqu all adapted to the trend. She died in Hong Kong on October 13, 1995, suffering from pelvic injuries. Zhang Yiwen recorded only one coarse grain record in Shanghai, and the rest of her songs were recorded in Hong Kong. It has a very famous song "a river across the world" which was originally a Cantonese song. In 1966, the theme song of the film with the same name was sung by Wei Xiuxian, while Zhang Yiwen copied it in Mandarin.
