Wang Ming

Wang mo (November 8, 1934 - December 5, 1997), a famous film composer in the 1980s. Shanghai people. Before he died, he was a first-class composer of China Symphony Orchestra, enjoying state subsidies, director of China Musicians Association, director of China filmmakers Association, executive vice chairman and Secretary General of China light music society, editor in chief of music life daily, member of the Central Committee of the Democratic League, and member of the 7th and 8th National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference.

He has cooperated with singer Li Guyi in more than 50 songs, such as "the spring in the frontier is clear and pure", "unforgettable tonight", "golden boat", "bosom friend", "mother, look at me", "lovely azalea", "sister looking for brother's tears", "ronghua", "June litchi red", "don't sigh", "forget the girl's past" and so on. They are all songs that spread all over the country with Li Guyi . Character experience

In 1934, Wang Mo was born in a poor Huanong family in the suburb of Shanghai. Because of his poor family, he went out to work with his brother since childhood. His father used the money to pay for Wang Mo's going to primary school intermittently. It was not until 1947 that he got a chance to enter Shanghai Jiaotong middle school. In school, he began to come into contact with music from the singing activities of anti hunger and anti civil war. After the liberation of Shanghai in 1949, he was sent to a training class organized by the Youth Art Troupe to study music theory, composition and conducting. From then on, he embarked on the road of music. His first song "song of going south to join the army" won the first prize in the Shanghai student singing competition at that time. In 1953, after graduating from high school, he failed to enter the Conservatory of music due to illness, but he did not give up his pursuit of music. From 1954 to 1959, he was a teacher of Central Primary School in Jing'an District. During this period, he successively participated in the study of workers' spare time composition class and night University of Shanghai Conservatory of music, and published mixed chorus "come to listen to lovers sing folk songs" and other music works. With hard work and persistent pursuit, Wang Mo was admitted to the composing Department of Shanghai Conservatory of music in 1959. Five years of college life, Wang Mo not only systematically studied Chinese and foreign music theory, but also assiduously studied folk music, which laid a solid foundation for his future music style. He graduated from the composing Department of Shanghai Conservatory of music in 1964. In 1953, he studied composition theory with Chen Mingzhi. He also studied composition in the music creation class of Shanghai worker's culture palace and piano in night University of Shanghai Conservatory of music. In 1959, he joined the composing Department of Shanghai Conservatory of music and studied under Ding Shande. After graduation in 1964, he joined the creation group of the central Orchestra and engaged in music creation.

In 1964, Wang Mo ended his hard-working academic career and was assigned to the central orchestra to engage in music creation. In 1973, Wang Mo wrote the episode "Fisherman's girl at the seaside" and "on the beach..." At the same time, it brings criticism to the people who are surrounded by the "Cultural Revolution" and "model opera". Then there are the theme songs of the movie "black triangle" such as "the spring in the border is clear and pure", "little flower" such as "sister looking for brother's tears", "cherry" such as "mother, look at me", "tears" such as "rose in the heart", "the second handshake" such as "spring is always in the motherland"

These movie theme songs mean an era for Chinese people. With the prosperity of literature and film and television works in the new era, these film and television songs have been sung everywhere, becoming the first batch of original pop songs in the new era. Their birth has broken the situation of Hong Kong and Taiwan's song popularity, and their singers have come out of the first batch of Chinese pop musicians. Chinese people will never forget Wang Ming.

Shi lemeng, an 80 year old composer of the older generation, went to the hospital with a crutch to see Wang Ming. When he left, he forced himself to smile: "it's OK. His illness is lighter than Shi Guangnan..."

Once upon a time, Wang Ming, Shi Guangnan and Wang Liping were known as the "troika" of young composers in the new era. Because of this, composer Wang Liping called his home at 12:30 in the middle of the night and said, "Wang Ming is an outstanding and representative of this generation."

She still can't forget every point of support and encouragement from Wang Ming. "When I came out of the hospital, I cried against the wind for a long time. I was thinking that my life was so fragile, but Mr. Wang Mo lived a wonderful life. He not only raised a generation of music, but also many of us," she said

Wang Mo was one of the first musicians in China to open a popular music training class. In 1987, he founded the popular music training class, which was trained by the China Conservatory of music, and got rid of the young singers SUN Hao, Li Shu and Hu Xiaoqing. During his coma, singer SUN Hao went there almost every day and chattered to his teacher: "wake up, I'll take you to dye your hair, and we'll live in a beautiful spirit..."

In 1988, Wang Mo founded China Light Music Association and later edited music life. His first symphony the Great Wall has just finished its first movement.

When the film pictures that accompanied the growth of a generation appeared, the audience could not help but burst into tears. The familiar songs such as "ronghua" and "tears streaming from my sister to my brother" in the movie "Xiaohua" and "Fisherman's girl by the sea" in the movie "Haixia" are heard again, and the journey of Chinese music can be seen clearly. Looking back on Wang Mo and Li Guyi's creation of music form for a generation, the impact of music works on people's spiritual and cultural life at that time can not be ignored or even huge.

When Li Guyi was watching the movie and hearing the familiar singing from the bottom of his heart, he felt nostalgic and wiped away the tears from his eyes. Afterwards, she expressed her gratitude to all the organizers for their joint efforts. When Mr. Li Guyi talked about her years on official business with Wang Mo, she was very excited and even sobbed for a time. At that time, Li Guyi was criticized by the literary and art circles for her innovative singing method. Wang's family gave her great support and help, which made this strong singer bravely walk on the artistic road to today. Recalling that she and the people of her motherland had gone through difficult times, she also sang a few lines of "ronghua" on the spot, and all the people present were moved by Li Guyi's deep feelings.
