Wang Zhi
Wang Zhi was born in Jiepai Town, Hengyang County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province in May 1965. He once served as a reporter of Hunan Chenzhou TV station, Hunan TV station, Shenzhen radio and TV group, a reporter and host of CCTV "the son of the Orient", a reporter and host of news investigation, a reporter, host and producer of face-to-face, a vice mayor of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, and a deputy director of the Information Office of Yunnan provincial government, a deputy director of the Foreign Publicity Office of the Publicity Department of the provincial Party committee, and a deputy director of the Red Cross Foundation of China Secretary and executive vice president (preside over the work).
In July 2012, he transferred to Communication University of China as a researcher and assistant to the president. On May 22, 2014, he joined Shaanxi satellite TV and will host a large-scale all media activity "Silk Road ten thousand miles" in the near future.
Wang Zhi's departure as vice mayor of Lijiang City has become a mystery, and the handover procedures have not yet been completed.

On October 22, 2008, appointed by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the "doctoral service group" of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Wang Zhi arrived in Lijiang and began a one-year temporary training. During his work in "the son of the Orient", Wang Zhi won the first prize of China's TV news in 1994, 1995 and 2002 respectively, and won the gold prize of news award in the "Jinshi Ming" Cup National TV host competition in 1996. On May 20, 2010, the 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the second Lijiang Municipal People's Congress decided to remove Wang Zhi from the post of vice mayor of Lijiang Municipal People's government, and appointed Yang Haodong and Li Honglin as vice mayors of Lijiang Municipal People's government according to law, and issued a letter of appointment.
On September 7, 2010, more than three months after finishing his temporary post, Wang Zhi was appointed secretary of the Party branch and director of the Council of the Red Cross Society of China by the Party committee of the Red Cross Society of China. As a result, he officially left CCTV, and all organizational relations were transferred to the Red Cross Society.
On August 29, 2012, the red foundation of China confirmed that Wang Zhi, former CCTV celebrity and former vice chairman of the red foundation, left the red foundation to work in Communication University of China. Red Foundation staff said that the personnel changes are normal work changes.
