dynasty
(w á ngch á o): refers to the Dynasty and the imperial court. It's different from the imperial dynasty. (the feudal dynasty which can unify the regional civilization and the highest ruler has the title of emperor should use the imperial dynasty; the small regional country, enfeoffment vassal state, vassal state or separatist regime and whether the ruler is emperor or king should use the dynasty.)
There are two usages: 1. The name "King" refers to the regime of the supreme ruler, such as the Zhou Dynasty in the pre Qin period, and the emperor of Zhou is also called the king.
2. The name of "emperor" is the supreme ruler. At the same time, it enfeoffs some princes or vassal states. The imperial dynasty is higher than the regional Dynasty.
For example, under the Han Dynasty, there was the Huainan Dynasty. Qin Dynasty is the predecessor of the Qin Dynasty

China
It became the highest Dynasty in China and the surrounding areas, and the king of Qin was called the first emperor. The wrong way to say it is "the imperial dynasty of Korea". In history, there were only dynasties and no royal dynasties in Korea, and the feudal rulers of Korea could only be called kings, not emperors.
The kingdom of Korea was a vassal state to the central dynasty. In the history of East Asia, emperors wore yellow robes, while princes or vassal kings could only wear other colors. For example, the king of Korea used red, and the king of Thailand used yellow only after the Qing Dynasty;

The flag of Bhutan is a four clawed dragon, and the flag of Bhutan is still a four clawed dragon.
The concept of "kingdom" in Europe is different from the concept of "Dynasty" in Chinese history, and the semantic meaning expressed after translation needs to be discriminated.
Interpretation of Dynasty
The "King" of "Dynasty" is "prosperous" province. "Prosperous" originally refers to "the sun at noon" or "the sun in summer", which means "strong fire" and "full of heat". "Chao" originally means that the sun has appeared in the grass on the eastern horizon before the moon has completely disappeared. It means that people face the west, just send off the moon (on behalf of the old royal family), and immediately turn to meet the sun in the East (on behalf of the new royal family). The extended meaning is that "the sun and the moon push each other" is called "Ming". Therefore, "Wang" can be read as "Ben (Lun)", "Chao" can be read as "Dai (Xing)", that is, "Dynasty" can be read as "Ben (Lun)".

"Zhou Li, di Guan, Shi Shi Shi" said: "living on the left side of Humen, it is the imperial court." Zheng Xuan's note: "Wang RI sees the court outside the gate of Lu's dormitory If there is a good way to do, then the current imperial edict should be issued to the king. "
2. Court:
"Wei Xian biography of the Han Dynasty:" the dynasty was eliminated, only the court of Jun Lu You of the Song Dynasty wrote in Dong's escape: "when the crisis continues, it's like the collapse of the waves. When the dynasty is desolate, who will collect it again." Chapter 6 of the chronicles of the states of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty: "Zheng bingsu was strong, and his monarch was a king. Now I have won enough to win. When the LORD was first established, the affairs of the state were not settled. If he stayed abroad for a long time, there might be internal changes. " Tian Beihu's "on the origin and development of articles" said: "this history is based on the record of events and words; the three generations of different husbands belong to the imperial court of the dynasty, and one family and one person are the classics."
3. Dynasty:
Historically, it refers to the time when a country was ruled by a certain family. Fan Wenlan, Cai Meibiao, et al. In the first section of the first chapter of the fourth part of the general history of China: "after that, the system established by the unified dynasties basically followed the Qin system."
4. A country ruled by a certain family is also called a dynasty
Although the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is called the Republic, its regime is inherited by the lineage of the Kim family, so it is called the Kim family dynasty.
