In 1995, after living in the Three Gorges for 16 years, Yu Yiwu, a composer full of deep feelings for the mountains and waters there, composed a magnificent electronic sound and picture "Three Gorges" with his unforgettable feeling. In 1998, Guangdong Meika cultural audio and video Co., Ltd., which has been interested in the field of fever music, selected this subject that has attracted much attention and decided to promote this unique national cultural music album "Three Gorges" in a larger scope in a higher grade form.

Although "Three Gorges" has long been famous all over the world, and "Three Gorges" has become an unshakable word in the hearts of the people, it is not easy to make and promote this fever record with the theme of "Three Gorges". First of all, this album has been released on a small scale in 1996, and has won a lot of repercussions. How to make it reappear with a higher quality and a new look is the first problem we are facing. After careful consideration, we decided to renovate the Three Gorges from the inside out. The first choice is to start with the master tape. The master tape is rewritten by Hiroshi Baoban, the chief recording master of Japan Tianlong company, using mastersonic technology, and then handed over to Mr. Chen Luo, the Chinese gold medal recording master who is familiar with the taste of feverish music fans for "secret" processing. Finally, the whole process of plate making, die pressing and disc printing is completed in Japan Tianlong company. On the other hand, a very important issue is the outer packaging. In order to cooperate with this series of MIDI electronic sound and picture, let music and picture complement each other. We specially made a full-color picture of the scenery of the Three Gorges. The author of the Three Gorges, Mr. Yu Yiwu, and his wife, Ms. Wang Xiaozhu, choose the pictures by themselves, and match each song with a picture of the title, supplemented by the appropriate text explanation, so that the Three Gorges is clearer, more three-dimensional and more intimate. The redesigned covers and inner pages are all in pure gold to reflect the feverish temperament and heavy connotation of the record.
