personal anecdote
survey
Xue Wei is China's first famous violinist in the world music world. After living abroad for many years, Xue Wei toured to Foshan to hold a classic concert in Qionghua Grand Theater. His performance has a special feature. In the first half of the concert, he presided over a lecture on "from musical notation to music", focusing on the repertoire "Liang Zhu" and "beautiful rosemary".
Two second game
For many people, music is just a kind of entertainment. It's a pastime after dinner, but it's impossible for Xue Wei, who has been playing violin for more than 30 years. "For a person who treats art sincerely, his love and hate must be clear, and his eyes can't tolerate any sand." Therefore, in the eyes of some people, Xue Wei, who seems quiet, is a arrogant man. But he has the capital of "arrogance", and his ears are his capital. He has enough confidence in his ears. It takes only two seconds to listen to any classical violin to know who is playing the music. Even the performer he seldom listens to never makes mistakes. It has almost become a game for him, and it has been tried repeatedly.
Every performance is fresh
When he was young, Xue Wei liked romantic music and had a strong sense of self. No matter what he played, he would like to put his own brand on it. However, he found that he was very tired after several performances and felt that he was soon hollowed out. With the increase of age and experience, Xue Wei gradually gave up his so-called self. "Once we go deep into the works, everyone will find and experience different things, and the angle of interpretation will certainly be different. When I completely put down my self-consciousness, I found that my music language is rich, and I can interpret different works of different times from different angles. Now, every performance is very fresh, and I feel my music source is endless. "
Only music is boring
Xue Wei loves music, but he is still an idealist. He doesn't expect to be a professional musician. "It's a very helpless thing. Once you become a professional musician, it will kill your love for art. Because there are a lot of dark things in it. Career and art are two concepts,
It's the same for record companies. Some classical records are just selling tracks. They are bloody businesses and have nothing to do with art. " Xue Wei often expresses his ideas in an almost exaggerated way, simple but clear-cut. Music is the art of time, musicians always have a special sensitivity to those processes. What makes Xue Wei feel ridiculous and lamentable is that he fell in love with western music in China and Cantonese food in Europe. He hopes that he can experience peace and adjust his time every other period, and then come out to perform and record, because music belongs to life, not work. Born in China, Xue Wei is known as "the most outstanding violinist of our time". He began to learn piano at the age of 8. He has studied in the middle school attached to Shanghai Conservatory of music and the Central Conservatory of music successively. He has studied under professors Lin Yaoji, Zheng Shisheng, Zhou binyou, Tan Shuzhen, Chen Xinzhi, Yuan Peiwen, Teng Maolong and Jin Zhongping. Xue Wei was admitted to the Central Conservatory of music at the age of 19. In 1986, he won the silver medal in the Tchaikovsky international violin competition, one of the three major music competitions in the world, and won the gold medal and all other awards in the Karl Fleisch International Violin Competition. In 1986, he was called "Xue weinian" by the international music circle. In the same year, he was elected as the LPO / pioneer young soloist of the year, setting a new record The highest award that Chinese people have won in the world music competition. Because of his outstanding performance, he became the youngest tenured professor of the Royal Conservatory of music at the age of 26 and the first Oriental among the professors. In October 2003, Xue Wei was the youngest judge of the Tchaikovsky Violin Competition.

Works review
This is EMI's first investment in the production of classical music records with Chinese musicians and production groups as the main force.
The whole record contains 19 tracks of different styles. From classical to romantic, from movie music to musical selection, from sketch to adagio, piano accompaniment, Cello accompaniment and guzheng performance are adopted. Three of them are worth mentioning
"Benjamin Goda's Lullaby", "Cecil Bailey's infinite movement" and "Victor Herbert waltz" are the lost tracks Xue Wei found in the British Museum. Among them, lullaby was found after he heard it occasionally. Therefore, for this album, he not only likes it, but also contains Xue Wei's dedication to music. This album is not only a pure classical music album, it not only has the top professional quality, but also conforms to the taste of popular fashion appreciation. As Xue Wei said: "music professionals, audio enthusiasts and ordinary music lovers can find their favorite." Moreover, the album is exquisitely designed and packaged, including CDs, DVDs and a set of music scores. Yang Liqing, President of Shanghai Conservatory of music, said: "although Xue Wei has published an album before, this one is different. The whole record is the most beautiful
