Zhang Lin
Zhang Lin, born in Beijing on January 6, 1987, is an athlete of the Chinese swimming team.
Zhang Lin entered the national team in 2002, won the men's 400m freestyle champion in the 10th National Games in 2005, won the silver medal in the men's 400m Freestyle in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, achieving a historic breakthrough in Chinese men's swimming, won the men's 800m Freestyle in the world championships in Rome in 2009, becoming the first world champion in Chinese swimming history, and won the CCTV Sports Awards in 2010 Best male athlete at the grand ceremony.
Early experience
In 1994, Zhang Lin trained at Haidian amateur sports school in Beijing. Her coach was Li Xiaona. In 1999, Zhang Lin entered the second Sports School of Beijing swimming team and studied with Wang Zhuolong. In 2000, coach Chen Yinghong recruited Zhang Lin, who was training for the second Beijing swimming team, into the Beijing swimming team.
Sports career

In 2004, Zhang Lin took part in the men's 800m Freestyle in Athens Olympic Games and entered the final.
