In recent years, I have visited almost all the gullies in Northern Shaanxi to search for folk songs, reorganizing, combining and singing those songs scattered in the fragmented folk. The origin of loess folk songs
Because my singing style is difficult to be classified, neither is it popular, nor national, nor is it original ecology, so I have to create a concept called "loess ballad" by myself. Its material is not limited to northern Shaanxi, but the whole loess plateau. My singing style is mixed with a variety of singing methods, and my songs are basically from the long-term life practice of working people Therefore, it is called "loess ballad". ——He Guofeng
