Early experience
On December 22, 1977, Ji Jie was born into a military family in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. As a child, he loved listening to songs and singing. Because of this hobby, his family opposed him and had to give up his music dream. Without professional training, Jijie still exploits his music potential through his enthusiasm for music and self-cultivation.
Ji Jie graduated from linguistics major of Central University for Nationalities in July 1999, and later worked in Bacardi company as manager of three foreign wine brands. In 2007, he drove with his secretary to attend the audition of "happy male voice" held in Nanjing singing District, but was not selected.
Jijie has worked hard in the workplace for nearly ten years, from English teacher to camera and fashion magazine. After years of hard work, he finally joined Bacardi company, one of the top 500 companies in the world, and worked as the manager of three foreign wine brands. One of the most important tasks of his work is to support China's original music, original band and independent music by providing sponsorship musician. He is also one of the heroes who brought mojito and other world-famous cocktails into the Chinese market to form a trend. The sinosessions platform built by him is the first time to bring foreign bands to perform in China on a regular basis. In the era of serious lack of international live band performance, Jijie took the first step in China. In 2007, he drove with his secretary to attend the audition of "happy male voice" held in Nanjing singing area. Unexpectedly, he was selected and won the first place in Nanjing competition area and the national top five.
Acting experience
On May 8, 2007, Ji Jie took part in the talent show "2007 happy male voice" held by Hunan Satellite TV, won the first place in the audition in Nanjing, and successfully entered the national top ten competition. He stopped in the national top five in the national finals of the talent show. On July 3, he joined hands with Xianggang TVB to create a variety show "dancing miracle", and won the third place with Xie Na In November, 2007, he tried to host the song competition program "great fame" of Hunan Satellite TV for the first time.

In 2009, Ji Jie and Li Weijia co hosted Hunan Satellite TV's reality show "all in one response", which won the national ratings championship in a row and was also the first star outdoor reality show in China.
In January 2010, Ji Jie starred in the new year magic love musical "love life" premiered in Beijing Tianqiao theater, where he played a wandering painter. In late January, his idol drama "happy season is like a dream" with partners of Chen qiao'en, Qiu Ze and Feng Shaofeng was killed in Hangzhou, where he played "Xu Shifeng"; in October, he joined the inspirational comedy "big man" with partner Wu Shaofeng Meng Da, Yang Lele and Liao Jian filmed together.

In February 2014, Ji Jie participated in Hunan Satellite TV's "I am a singer 2" program; in May, Ji Jie hosted China's first star love reality show "if love" created by Hubei satellite TV and Asia's top entertainment media company CJE & M; in July, Ji Jie joined hands with Netease cloud music to launch China's first real-life music show "Jeffery's music life" to travel with you in the world of music. The reality music show "Jeffery's music life" is a brand new online music program. It takes Jijie's real journey as a clue and takes the audience to appreciate all kinds of good music in the form of sound documentary.
In February 2020, he served as a letter reading guest of Tencent video anti epidemic special production version of the letter reading program "see words like face · special production".
