Shuangjiang
Shuangjiang river is a tributary of Qianjiang section of Xijiang River, Liujiang River and Duliu river of Zhujiang River system. Also known as Sizhai River, it is the second largest tributary of Duliu river. It originates at the southern foot of Gaoyin Miaoling mountain range in Aizhong Township, Liping County. The source flows from southwest to Southeast, turns from southwest to Southeast at xindihekou, turns from northeast to Southeast at koujiang Hekou, turns from southwest to southwest at Shuangjiang, and flows into Duliu river at gaolingdong.
The river basin is located at 108 ° 40 '- 109 ° 08' e and 25 ° 48 '- 26 ° 30' n across Liping County, Congjiang County and Rongjiang county. The watershed of Yuanjiang River system is Miaoling in the north, Dudong River in the East, zhaihao River in the West and Duliu River in the south. The drainage area is 1372 square kilometers. The river has a total length of 89.5 km, a drop of 819 m, an average gradient of 8.6 ‰, and an average annual discharge of 29.6 cubic meters per second. The terrain of the basin is high in the north and low in the south, with the highest point of 1015 meters and the lowest point of 181 meters. the exposed strata are mainly metamorphic rocks of Banxi group of Sinian system before, and only Sinian strata are exposed in the northeast corner. The basin is rich in forest resources and is an integral part of the timber forest base in Southeast Guizhou. Under bangtu, Shuangjiang can pass 2-3 ton wooden boats all the year round. Under the four villages of Kengdong River, Shuangjiang can pass small wooden boats and release wood. The main tributaries are Xindi River, zengchong River, koujiang River, Kengdong River, Gutong River, etc.
