Ye huaipei was born in Chicago, Illinois of the United States. His parents were originally Chinese. Later, he lived in Taiwan and later immigrated to the United States.

I was born in Chicago. I moved to New Jersey when I was 5 years old. I started to go to school there. When I was in the third grade, I moved to Tokyo, Japan. I stayed there for another two years. When I was 13, I moved to Taiwan and lived in Taipei for another three years. I went to an American school in Taipei and moved to Beijing for five years when I was in high school. I graduated from Beijing International School. After graduation, I returned to the United States and went to Brown University to study business management. For many reasons, he finally changed to composition and lyrics. Later, he studied composition and lyrics at Berklee Conservatory of music in Boston for two years. I moved to Taipei after finishing my studies there, and now I'm on an artist route in Asia.
