Early experience

Yang Zongwei was born into a civil servant family. He studied in neili elementary school of Taoyuan County in primary school, Ziqiang Middle School of Taoyuan County in middle school, and Senior High School of Zhongli senior high school. He graduated from National Changhua Normal University in June 2007.

Acting experience

In 2007, Yang Zongwei took part in the Taiwan singing talent show "super avenue of stars" and entered the top ten; in November 2007, he signed with Xu Anjin.

In January 2008, Yang Zongwei released his first personal EP "Pigeon", ranking first in Taiwan's record sales list in the first half of the year with 70000 copies. In May of the same year, Yang Zongwei, who had only released one record, staged a solo concert in Taipei's little dome.
