Du Rusong was born in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province in 1964. Famous flute player, national first-class performer. At present, he is the deputy head of the folk music troupe of Zhejiang song and dance theater and a member of China Musicians Association.

Du Rusong, a flute player, was born in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province in 1964. He began to play flute at the age of seven and could perform solo at the age of ten. He was once known as the "little prodigy of Jiangnan". In 1978, he was admitted to Zhejiang literature and art school and learned from Mr. Zhao Songting, a famous flute player and educator. After graduation in 1982, he stayed in school to teach. He was invited to perform with Dai Ya in the series of lectures on Chinese bamboo flute held by China Central Radio. In 1985, he was admitted to the Department of folk music of Shanghai Conservatory of music. He was taught by the famous Xiao player Mr. Tan Weiyu and Mr. Bao Aofa, and was instructed by another southern school Master Mr. Lu Chunling.
In recent years, he has performed in Tunis, France, Italy, Austria, Japan, Hong Kong and other places with a group of artists.
In 1988, Hangzhou held its first flute solo concert, which was well received.
On May 19, 1995, at the invitation of Taipei Qinyuan National Orchestra, he went to Taiwan to participate in the flute recital with the National Concert Hall fengyayun series - the famous music of Chinese bamboo flute Masters (1), "the sound of the flute blows into the clouds". In December of the same year, at the invitation of Taipei National Orchestra, he participated in the first International Symposium on national orchestral music and presented a large-scale national symphony harmony. He is now a professor of bamboo flute in the Conservatory of music of Hangzhou Normal University, a first-class performer in mainland China, and a member of China Musicians Association.
