Tang Jianping
He is from Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province. The first doctor of composition trained by new China. He is a member of China Musicians Association, China National Orchestral Association, director of composition department of Central Conservatory of music, member of Buddhist Music Committee of Hong Kong Buddhist culture industry, Professor of composition and doctoral supervisor. In 1970, he worked with Philippine experts in Jilin art school. Santos studied Western Percussion. He was admitted to the composing Department of Shenyang Conservatory of music in 1978 and studied composing with Professor Zhang Shouming and Huo Cunhui.

Tang Jianping is one of the most active composers in China in recent years. Since 1994, xuanhuang, a quintet composed of one bamboo flute and eight cellos, won the first prize in the third composition competition of Taiwan Provincial Symphony Orchestra. He has successively composed Pipa Concerto spring and autumn, Erhu Concerto bagai, national orchestral work Houtu, three Pipa Concertos spring and autumn Jiyun, and a large-scale ensemble accompanied by national orchestral and String Quartet The musical drama "heaven and man", as well as the national orchestral fantasy suite "heaven and man" and other large-scale music works based on its music.
