Hou Yaowen
Hou Yaowen (July 17, 1948 - June 23, 2007), born in Beijing on July 17, 1948, is a crosstalk actor in mainland China and a national first-class actor.
Influenced by his father Hou Baolin, he began to speak crosstalk in 1960. On October 30, 1979, he was elected as a representative and attended the Fourth Congress of Chinese literary and artistic workers. In the Spring Festival of 1983, I attended the first Spring Festival Gala. In 1985, he became one of the "top ten laughing stars" in China. In 1993, he was awarded the "international art achievement certificate" by the American Huamei art society. On December 10, 1994, he visited Zhao Peiru. In 1996, he was awarded the title of "double happiness of virtue and art" by the former Ministry of culture. In 1997, heart to heart art troupe performed in Hong Kong. On December 10, 2002, he became Vice Chairman of China quyi Artists Association. In the same year, he became deputy head of China Railway Arts Troupe and head of art director and rap troupe. At 18:30 on June 23, 2007, Hou Yaowen died of sudden cardiac death due to sudden myocardial infarction. After 40 minutes of rescue, the rescue failed. He died at his home in Rose Garden Villa, Changping District, Beijing, at the age of 59.
Hou Yaowen's performance is vivid, humorous, distinctive and unique. He depicts the characters vividly and thoroughly. He has high attainments in artistic performance. His students are all over the country, and his excellent crosstalk works have an extraordinary influence at home and abroad.
Character experience
Hou Yaowen was born in Beijing on July 17, 1948. In 1960, 12-year-old Hou Yaowen made his debut on the stage, performing the crosstalk "drunkenness" that his father once said. Since then, because his father Hou Baolin opposed his cross talk career, Hou spent the first few years on the cross talk stage with his nickname "little ADI" as his stage name. In 1965, Hou Yaowen, who had just graduated from junior high school, was admitted to the China Railway Art Troupe, where he formed a partner with Shi Fukuan.
In 1970, he went to the 38th army in Baoding, Hebei Province with the art and Art Troupe for training. After working, he rehearsed with the soldiers and created and performed more than a dozen comic dialogues, such as "wisdom and bravery", "small ball pushing big ball" and so on.
In October 1976, after the end of the "Cultural Revolution", works such as "the father-in-law of the financial fan", "be brave for a just cause" and "random talk on opera" were successively launched. The names of Hou Yaowen and Shi Fukuan began to be well known to the audience. On July 28, 1976, the sixth day after the Tangshan earthquake, he went to the disaster area with the railway rescue team for rescue and consolation.
On October 30, 1979, he was elected as a representative and attended the Fourth Congress of Chinese literary and artistic workers. His father, Hou Baolin, was also a representative of the conference, so his father recognized Hou Yaowen's position in art. In the same year, he was elected member of the all China Youth Federation. In the same year, he participated in the central condolence mission and went to the front line of China Vietnam border self-defense counterattack to express his sympathy. During this period, he created crosstalk "the destruction of a myth".
On February 12, 1983, he attended the first Spring Festival Gala of CCTV. On February 13, at the "Spring Festival Gala", crosstalk actors, who have stopped performing for 32 years, will perform in the form of Beijing opera for the first time. They will play Xiao He in the first half of the Beijing Opera "Xiao He chasing Han Xin under the moon" and his father Hou Baolin in the second half.
On June 26, 1984, he participated in the national cross talk competition held in Qingdao. In this competition, Shen Yongnian and Hou Yaowen created and Hou Yaowen and Shi Fukuan's crosstalk "sweet and sour live fish" were awarded two first prizes for creation and performance. On December 11, following a visit to the United States led by Hou Baolin's Chinese Quyi rap troupe, he gave the first formal performance of Quyi abroad in history, and performed in five cities, namely New York, Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. On December 29, he flew to Hong Kong and performed eight performances in Hong Kong. In the same year, Hou Yaowen won the first "Hou Baolin golden statue award", the highest award in the national crosstalk competition.
In 1985, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region, he went to Tanggula Mountain, more than 5000 meters away from Shanghai, with the central consolation group, to perform for the railway survey team.
On February 16, 1988, CCTV's Spring Festival Gala was broadcast. On February 5, 1989, he took part in the recording of CCTV Spring Festival Gala and cooperated with Zhao Lirong to perform the sketch "a day of heroic mother".
On April 5, 1990, he participated in the "Shanghai International crosstalk exchange show" and performed the crosstalk "lotus at the mouth".
On February 9, 1994, he took part in the recording of CCTV Spring Festival Gala and performed the sketch "playing cards" with Huang Hong. On December 10, Li Boxiang took charge of his younger martial brother, Zhao Peiru. In 1996, he created the crosstalk "Romance of Beijing and Kowloon" for the construction of Beijing Kowloon Railway.
On February 6, 1997, he took part in the recording of CCTV Spring Festival Gala and performed cross talk "Romance of Beijing and Kowloon" with Shi Fukuan. In the same year, xinlianxin art troupe performed "upstairs and downstairs" in Hong Kong.
In February 1998, he participated in the large-scale performance of "Nankun cultural train" organized by the Ministry of culture, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of railways.
In 1999, he went to Tianjin to participate in the "celebration of the 50th anniversary of Liu Wenheng's stage life" and performed the crosstalk "Japanese drama". In September 2000, he joined the Communist Party of China.
On September 19, 2001, terrorists created the September 11 incident in the United States. During the special period, he went to the United States with the art troupe of the Chinese Federation of overseas Chinese to pay homage to overseas Chinese and held charity performances in Phoenix, Boston and Dallas. On November 1, he went to Tianjin to participate in the "celebration of Wei Wenliang's 55th anniversary of becoming an artist" evening party, and finally performed the crosstalk "Yellow Crane Tower".
On November 5, 2002, he went to Tianjin to participate in the "academic seminar to commemorate the 104th anniversary of Zhang Shouchen's birth" and performed the crosstalk "eight screens". On December 10, he took up the post of vice chairman of China Folk Artists Association. In the same year, he served as the deputy head of the China Railway Arts Troupe and the head of the art director and rap troupe. In the same year, he was the judge of CCTV national TV crosstalk competition.
On September 11, 2003, the "global conference of overseas Chinese to promote China's peaceful reunification" was held in Moscow. Hou Yaowen attended the Mid Autumn Festival party for the delegates. On September 21, a crosstalk conference was held in Beijing National Culture Palace to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Su Wenmao's career as an artist, and the final performance of crosstalk "eight fan screen" was held. On October 28, he led the China Railway arts and crafts troupe to Hunan and Hainan for a tour performance. From 2003 to 2005, Hou Yaowen was the judge of Beijing comic dialogue sketch Invitational Competition for three consecutive years. In the same year, he was the judge of CCTV national TV crosstalk competition.
On January 10, 2005, he participated in the "laughing star charity performance, love together" at the Grand Theater of the national culture palace, and all the proceeds from the performance were donated to the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster area. On July 8, he went to Hangzhou to attend the opening ceremony of the Fifth China quyi Festival. On July 16, he attended the opening ceremony of Yinchuan branch of the Fifth China quyi Festival. On the 20th, he attended the opening ceremony of Tieling branch of the 5th China Folk Art Festival. On October 6 and 7, he took part in the second and third special evening for famous crosstalk artists to commemorate the 105th anniversary of Guo qiru's birth, and performed the crosstalk "eight fan screen".
On March 27, 2006, he led the "passion leap" condolence performance group of China Railway arts and crafts troupe to tour for the grassroots. On the evening of September 23, the fourth China quyi peony award presentation party was held in Nanjing Wutaishan gymnasium as the awarding guest. On October 25, Hou Yaowen participated in the 5th anniversary of the "9 · 11" performance of the Chinese Federation of overseas Chinese Art Troupe in the United States, CO sponsored by the American Education Foundation and the American Federation of American companies. On October 29, the first special performance of the 10th anniversary of Deyun society was held in the Grand Theater of the national culture palace, where the counterpart crosstalk "Henan Opera" was performed. On December 13, he led the Chinese Railway rap troupe to participate in the 2006 Jinan International humor art week and held a special crosstalk evening. In the same year, he was the judge of CCTV national TV crosstalk competition.
On January 27, 2007, he visited Italy, Portugal and Spain with the art troupe of the Chinese Federation of overseas Chinese. On May 21, he participated in the "special cross talk party for commemorating the 80th anniversary of Gao yingpei's birth" at Fenghua Grand Theater in Shekou, Shenzhen. On June 12, he went to Tianjin to attend the Party of "commemorating the 80th birthday of Guo Zhenqing, a film performing artist". On the afternoon of June 21, Hou Yaowen took part in the recording of the final of Xiaoao Jianghu in Tianjin. The program scheduled to be broadcast in early July became Hou Yaowen's final performance on the TV screen. At 18:30 on June 23, Hou Yaowen died of sudden cardiac death caused by sudden myocardial infarction. After 40 minutes of rescue, the rescue failed. Personal life
Family situation
Hou Yaowen is the third son of the late crosstalk actor Hou Baolin.
His mother, Wang Yalan, from Tianjin, was a Peking Opera actor. After liberation, she organized a Peking opera troupe on the street to teach opera voluntarily and train young actors. Hou Yaowen's profound Peking Opera skills also benefited from his mother's teaching.
Hou Yaowen's brother is crosstalk actor Hou Yaohua, Hou Baolin's second son.
