Miramar Hotel (Hotel Miramar Hong Kong, the mirahotel), located at 118-130 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, is a hotel in Hong Kong. Opened in 1957, it has 525 rooms, including 183 single rooms, 329 double rooms and 13 suites. The architect is Zhu bin. The hotel is managed by Meihua international hotel group. The hotel is conveniently located and close to Tsim Sha Tsui Station of MTR Tsuen Wan line, Tsim Sha Tsui East Station of West Rail Line and China Hong Kong ferry terminal. It also takes only 10 minutes to get to and from honghom station of MTR East Rail Line / West Rail line. The hotel used to have an old wing, but it was demolished in 1988, rebuilt in 1996 and completed in 1997.

history

Meihua hotel was founded in 1957 by the late Hong Kong businessman Yang Zhiyun and others. It was the first high-end hotel operated by Hong Kong people at that time. In the 1980s, the next generation of the Yang family had no intention of continuing their business, so they sold their shares to Li Zhaoji. Since 2006, Li Jiacheng has been the managing director of Meihua Hotel, a listed company. Before the renovation of the hotel in 2007, the basement of the hotel is shooters 52 American restaurant; the underground is Princess bar and the atrium restaurant; the first floor is Donggong Chinese restaurant and the third floor is commercial press.

Renovation works

In mid-2007, the 50 year old Mira Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui spent more than 400 million yuan to renovate. The hotel was renamed "the Mira". The first 120 new rooms were renovated in mid-2008. In addition to the combination of computer and entertainment, it is also the first hotel to provide free local mobile phone service, with one phone connecting the hotel room and outdoor use. the hotel's guest rooms are mainly divided into four colors, including green, red and silver. The VIP floors are in noble deep purple, and the suites are in white. Each room is equipped with egg shaped seats designed by ARN Jacobsen. It is also equipped with a 500g Blu ray Disc PC and entertainment combination. Through a 40 inch high-definition TV, you can surf the Internet with WiFi free of charge, watch news and inquire about flight information. the restaurant in the hotel was also greatly innovated. After the atrium restaurant in the basement lobby was completed, it was converted into Yamm Japanese restaurant in May 2008. The restaurant was designed by Colin Cowin. Different from general hotel restaurants, buffet has a la carte service. There is also a special shop selling home-made chocolate and coffee near the restaurant, named coco. Room one bar & Lounge is also available in the lobby. Coco specialty store closed in 2010. By 2009, the original site of the commercial press on the third floor was rebuilt into a number of banquet rooms and guojinxuan. In 2010, guojinxuan was listed as a new two-star restaurant on the 2011 Michelin Guide to Hong Kong and Macao. in 2010, the owners renovated the underground shop, the property shop, the basement and the first floor, and divided them into three large shops to attract big brands and increase the rental income. First of all, the first floor shop on the ground floor, with an area of about 5000 square feet, is rented to a famous brand leather coach, with a monthly rent of 2.8 million yuan and a lease of 560 yuan. Tommy Hilfiger, an American fashion brand, occupies 6449 square feet with a monthly lease of 2.3 million yuan. The flagship store of twist, a local brand clothing store, also opened in early April 2012. Another shop was pre rented by Jingfu jewelry for $3 million, totaling more than 15000 square feet.

Miramall miramall is a four story, 100000 square foot building. It was opened in April 2012 and will officially open on October 17. There are about 30 stores in the venue, five of which are flagship stores, covering two or more floors, with an area ranging from 2300 to 22000 square feet. The existing tenants include coach, Tommy Hilfiger, masterplecebykingbook and twist's flagship store. In the third quarter, a new concept store of collectpoint, a Japanese young clothing brand, was set up. In addition, new concepts such as teahouse and beauty shop were set up to bring customers a new shopping experience.
