Shanghai Building

Shanghai tower, formerly known as Broadway tower, was built by British businessmen in 1934. It is located at No.2 North Suzhou Road, near Suzhou River in the South and Huangpu River in the East. The building is 76.7 meters high and has 22 floors. It is majestic and tall. The original site of the building is Shanghai Yingshang tramway Co., Ltd., which started construction in the 19th year of the Republic of China and was completed in the 23rd year of the Republic of China. It was renamed "Shanghai Building" by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government on May 1, 1951, and is now listed as a five-star foreign-related hotel.

Historical evolution

Shanghai building, standing on the Bank of Huangpu River and Suzhou River, is a classic five-star hotel on the Bund. The Shanghai building, originally named Broadway mansions, was designed by the famous British designer Fraser and was born in the 1930s. Car park, which streams of people busily coming and going to the Bund for more than 80 years, is one of the treasures of the Bund. It is one of the 14 modern historical relics protection buildings in the Bund. It once owned the highest viewing restaurant in the city. The earliest parking lot inside the building was the symbol of Shanghai's beautiful city. The bustling outer white bridge was her sister, and it built a beautiful landscape together. It is the witness of history, faithfully records the changes of Shanghai beach, but it is young and full of vitality. The interior decoration not only reflects the original architectural style of Shanghai building, but also integrates the development trend of modern aesthetics.
