Step 1: weigh 500g hawthorn, clean it with clean water, put it into a stainless steel pot, pour in clean water, turn on medium heat, turn to low heat after boiling, and turn off the heat after boiling for 20 minutes.
Step 2: take a large container, pour the Hawthorn cooked into paste into the filter screen, place it on the container, and use a spoon to continuously roll the Hawthorn to filter out the delicate Hawthorn paste.
Step 3: weigh 38 grams of corn starch and 50 grams of water, mix them evenly and set aside.
Step 4: pour the filtered Hawthorn paste into the pot, add white granulated sugar, place it on the gas stove and turn on the low heat (stir it with a wooden spatula during the process).
Step 5: after the white granulated sugar is completely dissolved, add a small amount of mixed starch paste several times (during this period, use a wooden shovel to quickly stir in one direction).
Step 6: Boil Hawthorn paste to a very viscous state, and turn off the fire when big bubbles appear.
Step 7: then pour the cooked Hawthorn paste into the container covered with plastic film and put it in the cold room for two hours before eating.
