Applicant: Gu'an County, Hebei Province
Jizhong Sheng wind music is popular in Jizhong plain, that is, nearly 30 counties and cities south of Beijing, west of Tianjin, north of Cangzhou and Dingzhou. It is commonly known as "concert". It is also known as "Sheng wind music" because it mainly uses pipe to lead, Sheng, etc. In addition to Sheng and wind instruments, there are also cloud Gong, flute and percussion instruments, such as drum, cymbal, cymbal and Dangdang. Music is divided into three categories: Suite, ditty and independent percussion. The length of the divertimento is long and the structure is complex, which is the main part of "Sheng guanyue". "Sheng Guan Yue" is all over the central Hebei plain. Farmers from all over the country take the village as a unit to perform in local folk activities such as sacrifice, etiquette, funeral and so on.
Qujiaying village, located in Gu'an County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, is a small village with a long history and simple folk customs in North China Plain. "Qujiaying concert" is a folk Sheng and pipe music. It is said that it originated from the Buddhist music of the temple during the yuan and Ming Dynasties. It has both the simplicity and ruggedness of the northern music and the tactful and quiet of the Southern music. It is mainly used for sacrifice and funeral ceremonies. It has traditional instruments such as pipe, flute, Sheng, cloud Gong and so on. Qu Jiaying music has a fixed band structure, with 24 musicians playing "full shed" music and 12 musicians playing "half shed" music. There are 13 pieces of divertimento such as yufurong, seven pieces of banqu such as jinzijing, more than 20 pieces of ditty such as WuShengFo and a set of percussion music. Qu Jiaying concert has a long history. It is said that Shi Kuang was the founder of the concert. The "concert" is passed down by oral and psychological teaching. Learners have to recite all the tunes before they can touch the musical instruments. Qu Jiaying Sheng has rich repertoire, complete music score and exquisite musicians. It has a high reference value in the study of the blend and evolution of ancient Chinese music, temple music and folk music.
