Introduction to Shifan music (tea pavilion Shifan Music)
Applicant: Fuzhou City, Fujian Province
Tea pavilion music originated in the tea Pavilion Street in Taijiang District of Fuzhou City. According to Zheng Luoying's Zhuzhi CI on the night of Rongcheng in his copy of poems of shame and empty studio during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, it is said: "the night in the Min mountain temple is very busy, and the moon outside the Min mountain temple is the door. The teeth of betel nut give birth to cigarette bags, and the children are more than ten times in the market. " It can be seen that Shifan music was popular among the people in Fuzhou at that time. Long ago, dragon dance was popular among the people in Fuzhou. Later, percussion music accompanied by dragon dance gradually separated and became an independent art form. It used five kinds of musical instruments, such as wolf stick, big and small gongs, big and small cymbals. In order to avoid the monotony of the combination of five musical instruments, people add flute, douguan, YeHu and other orchestral instruments, as well as Qinggu and Yunluo. In order to balance the volume, each kind of orchestra is equipped with even numbers, forming about ten kinds of double flute, double pipe and double Hu, from which the band is basically formed.
The representative repertoire of Shifan music in the tea pavilion includes the moon in the Qin tower, the sky under the water, the book of lotus, the cloud of wild geese, the pomegranate flower, etc.
Tea pavilion music is popular not only in Fuzhou, but also in the surrounding rural areas and five districts and six counties of Fuzhou. It also spread to Ningde, Jianyang, Nanping, Gutian, Fu'an, Zherong, Xiapu and other places.
The performance form of Shifan music in teahouse can be divided into sitting and walking, and the arrangement of performance position is very particular. The ten times music of tea pavilion is mainly used in the folk activities such as the God greeting contest, people's weddings and funerals, family banquets and so on. Most of the Qupai show the relationship between man and nature, society, or reflect a certain artistic conception, or describe ancient legends and stories.
