Brief introduction of Huajia ceremony of Korean Nationality:
Applicant: Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province
Huajiali is a birthday party held by the Korean people for the 60 year old, which is an important life etiquette of the Korean people.
Huajiazi is the abbreviation of huajiazi. 60 years is a cycle of huajiazi, so 60 years is called the year of huajiazi. From the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, the Chinese Korean moved into the Mudanjiang River Basin, and the huajiali was passed on and has existed until now.
When the ceremony was held, the children held a birthday party for the elderly, and invited their relatives and neighbors to come together to thank their parents for their upbringing. Birthday presentation is a basic ceremony. At the beginning of the ceremony, the master of ceremonies introduces the life and achievements of the old people, and the children and guests deliver a speech. Then the descendants of the old people and their relatives and friends present birthday wine and make a kowtow ceremony according to the order of the age of men and women. Singing and dancing during the banquet, I wish the old people health and longevity.
The project is of great significance to carry forward the traditional virtue of respecting and loving the elderly, strengthen interpersonal communication and enrich the life of the Korean people.
