Henan Zhuizi was formed in Henan and widely spread in Henan and its surrounding provinces, such as Hebei, Shandong and so on. Linzhang County in Hebei Province has a very deep mass foundation. Before 1953, Linzhang county was under the jurisdiction of Anyang City, Henan Province.

Wang Yulan, an old artist in guoxiaotun village, who has a good reputation as "chuizi nest", said that the family tree of chuizi artists recorded that around the 25th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1796), chuizi was popular in the whole county. The predecessor of Linzhang (Henan) was called "yinggeliu", a folk tune learned from Anhui. With the development of the times, Henan Zhuizi, a kind of music, has been formed for more than 210 years.

Henan zhuizishu is a form of performance based on rap, which is popular in Central Plains dialect. In the early stage, there was only one person singing and pulling, but later there were two people dueling, accompanied by a special person. The singing tune belonged to plate cavity, mainly including flat, tight board, stamping board, slow board, rhyme; the tone, shouting cavity, small shouting cavity, lying cavity; the accompaniment included Chuihu (Sanxian), Jianban, zhentangmu, pedal, Shugu; the singing format was basically nine character, seven character rhyme, Tangkou Ci, etc.

The bibliography of Henan Zhuizi book takes "Hui" as the unit, and one or more chapters refer to one chapter or several chapters of the bibliographic story. Usually, Zhuizi artists say that Zhuizi book takes three or four hours. A long book is composed of several "Huis", which is called "original book" or "lianben book". Its representative traditional bibliographies include the case of Bao Gong, the case of Liu Gong, being in caoying, being in Han Dynasty, the story of red light, the story of Dagao, the sound of gunfire in the plain, and the short bibliographies of Wang Feilun's media and Xiao Erjia's dream.

In the old days, Henan zhuizishu were all poor people, with one or two or four people in groups, and there was no social class organization. The main time for the performance is to offer sacrifices, repay gods, return vows, celebrate weddings, celebrate birthdays and give birth to children. It is necessary to hire a "storytelling class" to speak for several days, with three, six and nine days as the best.

After the founding of new China, Linzhang county established the "Linzhang County quyi team", which consists of six quyi performance teams. He has edited and acted in such new books as the sound of gunfire in the plain, the white haired girl, the story of wind and dust, the battle in the plain, and the Muslim detachment Ma Benzhai. Besides the traditional standing performance, Linzhang County folk art team has a walking performance. At the same time, erhu, Guban, BangBan, electronic organ, Sheng and other accompaniment instruments appeared. After the 1970s, with the cancellation of Linzhang County quyi team, professional Linzhang County quyi team and bookstore class performance activities basically disappeared, and the performance of folk artists is also decreasing.

After entering the 21st century, as the old artists grow older and die one after another, daily performances are extremely difficult to see, and young people can not be cultivated. Henan zhuizishu in Linzhang county is on the verge of extinction, which is in urgent need of rescue and protection.
