Bank of Jilin Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Bank of Jilin) is a joint stock limited company established by the merger of Jilin commercial bank and Liaoyuan city credit cooperative, which was renamed Jilin bank by Changchun commercial bank with the approval of China Banking Regulatory Commission on October 10, 2007.

On September 1, 2019, the list of top 500 Chinese service enterprises in 2019 was released in Jinan, and Bank of Jilin Co., Ltd. ranked 256.

Background

In November 2008, December 2008 and April 2009, Jilin Bank established Baishan, Tonghua, Siping and Songyuan branches by absorbing and merging the Chengxin cooperatives in Baishan and other four regions, and newly established Yanbian branch and Baicheng branch. With the support of CBRC, Jilin banking regulatory bureau and Dalian banking regulatory bureau, Dalian Branch was established in December 2009 after the realization of cross regional development in Jilin Province, which indicates that Jilin bank has realized cross regional development and become a regional joint-stock commercial bank.
