Using the theory of consumption economy and the method of empirical analysis, "analysis of consumption and its influencing factors of rural residents in China" makes a comprehensive analysis and Discussion on the characteristics, regularity and influencing factors of consumption changes of rural residents in China, so as to obtain useful research results and provide theoretical and policy basis for starting the rural consumption market. consumption plays an important role in economic growth, which is mainly reflected in the following aspects: consumption has a direct and indirect pulling effect on the economy; consumption can create the necessary human resources for the development of production, thus creating social productivity; from the perspective of equilibrium (stability), consumption also plays the role of "automatic regulator" to prevent large fluctuations in the national economy . the consumption level of rural residents increases in fluctuation, which is verified by the change of average consumption tendency of rural residents, the change of Engel coefficient, the change of physical and labor consumption, and the improvement of life quality and health status. From the comparison between the consumption level of rural residents and the growth of national economy over the years, it is found that it belongs to the lagging consumption mode. Although this mode has certain benefits to the economic growth in the early stage of economic development, with the development of economy, we should make this lagging consumption mode transition to the synchronous consumption mode as soon as possible, so as to adapt to the growth of national economy and promote consumption And the virtuous circle of national economy. the consumption structure of rural residents has been significantly improved from a vertical perspective, which is shown in the following aspects: the proportion of consumption expenditure such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, etc. has changed greatly, and the order of total expenditure has declined; the consumption structure of rural residents has changed from survival type to development type and enjoyment type; the proportion of self-sufficient consumption in the consumption structure has decreased, while the proportion of monetary consumption has increased; the proportion of spiritual life consumption has increased, while the proportion of material consumption has increased The proportion of quality of life consumption decreased. From a horizontal perspective, there are great differences in the consumption structure of rural residents, mainly in the following aspects: first, the differences in the consumption level, purchasing power level and consumption structure of rural residents in different income groups are significantly expanding, but the differences in the consumption expenditure of household equipment and services between the high-income group and the low-income group are not as obvious as other types of goods; second, the differences between urban and rural areas are not as obvious Third, the differences in consumption level and structure of rural residents in different areas of Eastern, central and Western China are very small.
