Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Union

The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union is a local financial institution with legal person status established with the approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission. It is under the management of the people's Government of the autonomous region and entrusted by the people's Government of the autonomous region to perform the functions of management, guidance, coordination and service to the rural credit cooperatives of the whole region. In 2005 and 2006, the Rural Credit Cooperatives Union of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region won the "outstanding contribution award of financial institutions in supporting Guangxi's economic development" awarded by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for two consecutive years. In 2007, it was awarded the glorious title of "advanced unit of small enterprise financing service" by the people's Government of the autonomous region.

Scale of development

The purpose of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union is to serve the whole region rural credit cooperatives, farmers, agriculture and rural economic development, county economic development, and strive to promote the healthy development of Guangxi credit cooperation. By the end of 2010, there were 2369 institutions in Guangxi rural credit cooperatives. Among them, there is one Provincial Association, 10 county-level rural cooperative banks that have been established or opened, 79 county-level credit cooperatives, and 21500 employees. The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union has set up offices in Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Wuzhou, Yulin, Baise, Hechi and Beihai, representing the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union to perform the functions of management, guidance, coordination and service to the county-level cooperatives under its jurisdiction.

Development achievements

Since the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Union, it has fully performed its functions, promoted the rapid development of rural cooperative financial institutions in the region, increased business varieties, gradually improved operation mechanism, further improved service quality, rapidly improved staff quality, significantly enhanced safety operation ability, and greatly increased operation efficiency. In 2005 and 2006, the Rural Credit Cooperatives Union of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region won the "outstanding contribution award of financial institutions in supporting Guangxi's economic development" awarded by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for two consecutive years. In 2007, the rural credit cooperatives continued to maintain a good momentum of comprehensive, healthy and coordinated development. By the end of December 2007, the balance of various deposits of rural credit cooperatives in the whole region was 94.428 billion yuan, an increase of 44.538 billion yuan or 89.27% compared with the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union, and an increase of 22.997 billion yuan or 32.19% compared with the beginning of 2007; The balance of various loans was 63.008 billion yuan, an increase of 23.508 billion yuan or 59.51% over the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union, and an increase of 13.154 billion yuan or 26.38% over the beginning of the year. The increment of deposits and loans ranked first in the region for two consecutive years. From the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union to the end of December 2007, the region's rural credit cooperatives have issued a total of 83.025 billion yuan of loans, including 54.097 billion yuan of loans for agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and 40.854 billion yuan of loans for agriculture, rural areas and farmers, an increase of 10.997 billion yuan or 36.83% over the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Credit Cooperatives Union, and an increase of 4.753 billion yuan or 13.83% over the beginning of the year 17%, accounting for 90.99% of the agricultural loan balance of Guangxi's financial institutions. It is the main financial institution to issue loans for agriculture, rural areas and farmers. The accumulated loans for small enterprises are 36.644 billion yuan, and the loan balance for small enterprises is 30.433 billion yuan, an increase of 12.712 billion yuan or 71.73% compared with the establishment of Guangxi rural credit cooperatives, accounting for 68% of the total loans for small enterprises of Guangxi's financial institutions. By the end of 2010 It has become the main bank of small business loans. In 2007, the rural credit union of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was awarded the glorious title of "advanced unit of small enterprise financing service" by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

As of March 31, 2014, the bank's deposits have exceeded 400 billion yuan, becoming the first financial institution in Guangxi with a deposit scale of more than 400 billion yuan.

In recent years, Guangxi rural credit cooperatives have been actively serving the economic and social development of Guangxi. With only 20% of the funds in Guangxi, they have issued nearly 50% of agriculture related loans, nearly 50% of small and micro enterprise loans and 78% of farmers' loans in Guangxi. From 2010 to 2012, they have paid 5.575 billion yuan in various taxes, and 3.5 billion yuan in various taxes in 2013, becoming the largest taxpayer in Guangxi financial industry.

On July 26, 2019, the Department of industry and information technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guangxi Federation of enterprises and entrepreneurs released the list of top 100 Guangxi enterprises in 2019, and the Federation of rural credit cooperatives of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region ranked ninth.
