In terms of logistics, China Post has the potential to "gobble up mountains and rivers". In 2000, China Post officially launched the logistics distribution project. China Post uses the world's largest postal network that has been formed in China to build China's largest logistics distribution network. At the same time, it has established postal relations with 150 countries and regions in the world, and can reach 200 countries and regions by express mail, so as to gradually enter the international logistics market.
Since September 1, 2000, the delivery speed of mail has been 2-3 days faster than that of 1999 on average. Since October 1, 2000, the scope of postal parcels delivered to households by address has been expanded to the urban areas of cities above county level. More than 2300 urban residents above county level enjoy the high-quality service of free direct delivery of postal parcels to households. At the same time, China Post has officially signed letters of intent with dozens of large Chinese and foreign enterprises, including Dell computer (China) Co., Ltd., IBM China Co., Ltd., Qingdao Haier Group and China Hewlett Packard Co., Ltd.
Delivery network and financial network
China post is directly managed by the state. China Post physical delivery network has 236 logistics distribution centers, 113 sets of automatic letter sorting machines, more than 140 sets of automatic parcel sorting machines, and more than 15000 electronic branches, forming the world's largest postal network. It has established postal relations with 150 countries and regions, and Speedpost can reach 200 countries and regions. In line with the railway speed-up, China Post has implemented the nationwide speed-up of postal routes. Since September 1, 2000, the delivery speed of ordinary mail has been 2-3 days faster than before on average. Since October 1, residents of more than 2300 cities in China have enjoyed the high-quality service of free direct delivery of parcels to their households. The "183" e-commerce website of China Post, listed as the national e-commerce demonstration project, can provide online shopping, remittance, stamp collection, newspaper subscription and other services; the "185" customer service center can provide telephone information access services.
2. Green card financial network: in the postal field, the function of financial card with the function of saving, lending and payment is becoming more and more obvious. There are more than 15000 electronic postal branch offices and 3269 ATM automatic teller machines in China. The financial network has realized the host network of more than 70 big cities in 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, and universal deposit and withdrawal in 1189 cities and counties, becoming the largest retail financial service network in China. The national postal savings computer network has covered 30 provinces.
